Before going towards the Smog Allergy, it is important to know that what is smog? Smog is a specific kind of air pollution that reduces visibility. The composition of smog is variable. The term smog is derived from two words “smoke” and “fog”. Probably, this term was first used in the 1900s to describe the atmospheric conditions of British towns. It was publicized in1911 to the Manchester Conference of the Smoke Abatement League of Great Britain on over 1,000 deaths by “smoke-fog” that occurred in 1909 during autumn.

Smog Allergy

Smog Allergy is very common. It commonly causes during the changing of the weather. It is common in big cities with a lot of industries and traffic. The cities surrounded by mountains and hills may have more smog problems because the smog is trapped in the valley and cannot be carried away by the wind. California, Mexico, Mexico City, and Los Angeles, both have high smog levels because of this kind of land.

Smog Allergy is caused by the smog that is present in the atmosphere. It is a very big problem in many cities and continues to harm human health and the environment.

Smog at Urban Cities.

Formation of Smog

When pollutants and chemicals are released into the atmosphere or environment Smog Form. These pollutants may be natural or by a human. The pollutants caused by humans are of more worry due to the strength of pollutants produced by burning and extraction of fossil fuels and coal. These pollutants are known to cause extreme Health effects.

Photochemical smog is used to describe air pollution. It is a result of the interaction of the sunlight with specific chemicals or pollutants in the atmosphere. One of the primary constituents of photochemical smog is Ozone. In the stratosphere, ozone protects the earth from harmful ultraviolet radiation, and on the ground, it is dangerous to human health. When vehicle emissions containing volatile organic compounds and nitrogen oxides interact in the presence of the sunlight ground-level ozone is formed.

Industries Emitting Industries emit smoke through their chimneys and cause smog or smog allergy.

Types of Smog

Two distinctive types of smog “Sulfurous Smog” and “Photochemical Smog” are recognized. Sulfurous smog is also called “London Smog”, and Photochemical smog also called “Los Angeles smog”. The high concentration of sulfur oxides in the air is a result of London smog and is occurs by the use of sulfur-bearing fossil fuels, especially coal. This type of smog is exceeded by moisture and a high concentration of suspended particulate matter in the air.

Photochemical smog occurs most prominently in urban areas that have a large number of automobiles and vehicles. This type of smog requires neither fog nor smoke; it has its origin in nitrogen oxides and hydrocarbon vapors emitted

Effects of Smog Allergy

Smog is made up of a mixture of air pollutants. It can compromise human health, damage the surroundings, and even cause property harm. Smog can cause health issues like bronchial asthma, emphysema, bronchitis, and different respiratory issues moreover eye irritation. It can also decrease resistance to colds and lung infections. Smog can be responsible for a disease from slight pains to deadly lung cancer. It can also cause inflammation in the lungs which gives rise to pain in the chest.

Some peoples are more sensitive to the effects of smog than others, that include with existing chest, lung, and heart complaints. The first effect sign of smog may be irritation in the nose, throat, eyes, or lungs. It can also affect breathing. High levels of smog have been linked to an increased risk of asthma attacks, so it’s important for asthma patients to keep their inhalers near during high levels of smog.
